We did the Kanon IV surgical therapy addition with massages and home visits from Steven and Cassandra were amazing. I had a vaginal hyerectomy.  Melissa doing the targeted massage was amazing. Highly recommend this therapy level.  And then, Monica came to the house several times over the week to assess and monitor the incision. The IV therapy, I believe, helped me in healing faster. I never had a fever. Never had night sweats, Slept throughout the nights.  I felt great.  You have got to try this with your surgery!

Never thought I’d have a team of nurses in my house caring for me.  I had an umbilical hernia repair.  Steven doing my IV therapy, Cassandra managing my massage, and Monica overseeing my wound care made for a phenomenal team.  They worked great together.  Had me laughing and forgetting about the pain.  I knew from their confidence I was free from getting any infections. Kanon Health was a breath of fresh air.  Thank you!!  5 stars.  Already recommended you to my golf buddies.

Targeted Therapeutic Massage

Targeted Therapeutic Massage is exacly as it sounds. Our specialized massage therapy is done in conjunction with our Pre-operative IV therapy.  The massage targets muscles and joints located at or near your intended surgical site.  This has been found to increase the IV therapies targeted fluids, vitamins, and minerals to that site. Holding them there until your surgery and using your bodies natural defenses to surgeries, releases them to their targeted surgical sites.

A targeted therapuetic massage varies in time length depending on location of intended surgery.  We specialize in gastrointestinal, gynecologic, oncological, and orthopedic surgeries.  Therefore, enhancing the targeted IV therapy to that location.

Cost: $225.  This can only be completed with Kanon Health’s Pre-Operative IV Therapy.

The highly advanced and developed surgical therapy includes your initial Pre-Operative IV Therapy, along with the initial Targeted Therapeutic Massage followed by an in-hospital modified Targeted Massage.  Then, after discharge, add on the in-home nursing care for 5 visits over the course of 10 days.  With a final Targeted Massage on day 7 post-op.  Please schedule this as soon as possible.  The coordination of care is paramount to your health and well-being.

Post-Surgical In-Home Nursing Care

A third component of our post-surgical care includes five (5) in-home visits from our wound-specialized nurses.  This may be in combination with our IV therapy and targeted therapeutic massage or as a stand alone item.  Kanon Health’s specialized nurses will come to you, take your vital signs, assess your incision, assess your overall health, change dressings as needed/required, and drain any JP drains as directed by your surgeon.
